Before We Think About the Upcoming Election, We Must Think About the Next Generation

As Bundibugyo gears up for the next election season, campaign posters are already starting to flood our trading centers, influencers are picking sides, and promises are being thrown around like confetti. But let’s pause for a moment and ask ourselves a serious question:

Are we voting for the next five years… or for the next 50?

Our Children Are Watching

Whether you’re in Bubukwanga, Nyahuka, or Busaru, the truth is the same — our children are watching the decisions we make today. The kind of leaders we elect shape the schools they’ll go to, the roads they’ll use, the hospitals they’ll depend on, and the future they’ll inherit.

The Real Campaign: Building a Better Bundibugyo

This isn’t just about candidates and manifestos. It’s about values.

Ask yourself:

Will this leader promote unity or division?

Will they invest in education and health?

Do they know what it’s like to walk down muddy village roads after it rains?

Are they accessible beyond election time?

  1. It's time for a Bundibugyo citizen to jump off the bandwagon or Cult political support. It's time we prioritize accountability and not mere shillings of 2k or 5k we do take from political mafias. Enough ofagias
